Q: How is the recruitment process?
The recruitment process can be effected through any of the following methods:
- MANRED submits pertinent credentials of prescreened candidates. Prescreening is done by the agency via interview based on the job specifications contained in the job order. Telephone interviews may be arranged with the Principal. Cost is for the account of the latter.
- Principal sends its representative to the Philippines to interview and recruit. The interview is arranged and facilitated by MANRED in its offices. Candidates are scheduled for interview, prescreened and preselected.
- Principal participates in a job congress arranged by MANRED. Upon selection of a candidate worker, MANRED immediately initiates the documentation process, which includes passporting, physical examination and submission of appropriate documents to the Philippines Overseas Employment Administration )POEA. Trade test is done according to the skill of the worker with a duly authorized trade testing center. For U.S. bound healthcare professionals, this would involve the submission of all pertinent documents to the US Principal required credentialing, temporary work permit and H-1 visa application. From the Philippine end, the processing time normally takes from 15-30 days.
On behalf of its principals a job congress is held by MANRED in a pre-selected venue. A job congress is normally held from three to four days as the need arises.

Q: How do I apply for a position?
Applicants may apply on-line or in person at MANRED's office.
Our employment process is very simple. Each applicant needs to submit their requirements / documents to human resources services to receive consideration for employment.
Q: How long will it take to hear from someone after I send my application?
As we received your documents complete, and you are qualified applicant for an open position, MANRED staff will contact you for initial interview.
Q: How is the process?
- Submission of required documents by candidates - Selected candidates must submit various documents such as Birth Certificate, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Clearance, valid passport, etc.
- Medical examination - Selected candidates will be subjected to a physical examination including laboratory test as necessary.
- Contract of Employment - Upon passing the required medical examination, the selected candidate will be given the job offer for signing.
- The following provisions, as mandated by POEA, must be included within the employment contract:
- Provision of a return flight (beginning and end of contract). For contracts of more than one year duration, clients would basically provide one return flight per year
- Free accommodation with basic utilities
- Monthly food allowance or free food
- The number of days of vacation and sick leave per annum
- Medical Coverage
- Obtaining visas from country of client - If required, the client will secure the necessary working visas for the selected candidates for their base country.
- Visa Stamping in Manila - MANRED will bring the passport of the selected candidates to the Embassy of the client country in the Philippines for visa stamping.
- Pre-departure seminar at POEA - All Filipino overseas workers are required to attend a Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar. They will be provided with information about the country, information about the client 9 employer), job expectations, details of their employment contract and other matters that could facilitate their adjustment to their new working environment. We will arrange for this to be done.
- Flight Arrangements - MANRED will make travel arrangements and will confirm the flight bookings with you at least 3 days before the scheduled flight.
- Departure to country of designation - Candidates will be dispatched to country of destination.
